May Allah bless him and grant him peace’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dīnār bi madīnat Tabrīz sana sabʿ wa thamānīn’ (‘In the name of Allah. This dinar was struck in the city of Tabriz in the year [6]87’ in Arabic). Rev.
